ORIOR is an internationally active Swiss food and beverage group whose origins date back to 1852. Nine competence centers and several subsidiaries supply retailers, catering establishments, travel caterers and industrial customers. Who We Are

We are a Swiss Food & Beverage group with around 2300 employees, headquartered in Zurich. Since 1992, we have been developing and producing everyday food products – from fresh convenience and refined meat products to plant-based items, organic juices, and offerings in travel catering.

Our companies Fredag, Pastinella, Le Patron, Biotta, Rapelli, Albert Spiess, Möfag, Gesa, Culinor, Casualfood, and Gaetarelli are located throughout Switzerland, as well as in Belgium, Germany, and Italy. The individual locations are regionally rooted and operate as independent competence centers with close proximity to operational business.

We distribute our products in retail and specialized trade, at airports, and through food service channels such as gastronomy, wholesale, take-away, and catering. Approximately two-thirds of our revenue is generated in Switzerland, with other important sales markets located in the Benelux countries, Germany, France, and Italy. We are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

Our Path to the Future

The goal of ORIOR's strategic realignment until 2032 is sustainable and profitable growth thanks to clear positioning and consistent alignment with demographic and social changes and the increasing demand for functional, high-quality nutritional solutions in the areas of well-being and care.

Healthy aging is no longer exclusively aimed at the 65+ age group: Millennials and Gen Z are also increasingly paying early attention to nutritional quality, functional ingredients and well-being, which opens up intergenerational market potential for ORIOR.

With strong brands, industrial expertise, and scalable platforms, ORIOR positions itself as an integrated solutions provider for retail and food service. In its core categories, ORIOR consistently strives for the position of Category Captain.
