Last spring, a "Bottega Rapelli" was opened at Migros City on Löwenstrasse in Zurich on the occasion of the proud 90th anniversary of the traditional Ticino company. The experiment was so successful that the appealing shop-in-shop will remain for the time being: Mastro Salumiere Giovanni Pantano fulfils every customer wish behind the counter.
With competence and a portion of Ticino heartness he sells the typical, traditional products. "I can recommend, for example, the specialities such as the Prosciutto Crudo San Pietro, the Salame Gran Riserva and the Puccini Ham," explains Pantano. Also available are other Ticinese delicacies such as the salami with pepper from the Maggia Valley and the typical Ticinese grilled salsicce.
All freshly cut on the spot and served with the advice of Mastro Salumiere Giovanni Pantano. Passing by is worthwhile, because with the delicacies you get a taste of Ticino to your home.
